Overview

I am a seasoned clinical psychologist and life, career, and executive coach. I founded and ran a large multi-location, multi-state mental health practice in the northeast for 22 years before semi-retiring. I love helping people and teams figure out how to navigate the complexities of living. I have worked hard to accumulate some wisdom over the years and am happy to share it. I can give keynote and other presentations on a number of topics related to the psychology of decision-making and cognitive-behavioral strategies for self-improvement. I am also highly experienced in developing computer and technical systems and teaching people how to use digital tools more effectively.

Education

I double-majored in psychology and mathematics at Williams College, graduating Magna cum Laude. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Yale University. I attended Brown University for Internship/Residency in Clinical Psychology and stayed there to complete a postdoctoral fellowship. I joined the faculty at Brown after that, and for many years taught psychiatry residents and psychology interns and postdocs how to do ambitious, change-oriented psychotherapy.
